
Seasoned Senior Originator to Secure Renewable Energy Transactions as Rabobank expands Project Finance team.
NEW YORK, NY (June 14, 2022) – Rabobank has announced the appointment of Mark Gurfinkel as a new Managing Director within its Project Finance, Americas business. The Rabobank Project Finance, Americas team advises, structures, arranges and underwrites complex and tailor-made transactions for renewable energy and Food & Agriculture clients.
Mr. Gurfinkel has a keen sense of the business, economic, and commercial aspects of developing and financing renewable generation across North America and will lead initiatives to both secure new renewable energy transactions and build upon existing client relationships. With over 15 years of experience, his past deals range from energy to infrastructure projects in the Americas and include multiple award-winning transactions.

Prior to joining Rabobank, Mr. Gurfinkel was a Senior Director in the Structured Finance group at BayernLB, where he led renewables debt financings in the U.S. and Canada. He also has a decade of experience leading financings and project advisories for Mizuho’s Project Finance team. His work aided in a transaction value of over $12.5 billion USD across the power, economic, and social infrastructure landscape.

Mr. Gurfinkel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Yeshiva University, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from New York University.
